The show notes are as follows:

On this show I talk about all things mosh. I examine the history of the term and when it first came into the common vernacular. In my opinion, this can mainly be attributed to the thrash band, Anthrax. Their album ‘Among the Living’ has a song called ‘Caught in a Mosh’. I talk about my love for that album, as well as the biker jackets Anthrax wore in the liner picture.
Two members of Anthrax had an unpolitically correct side project called Stormtroopers of Death, which I talk about a little. Surprisingly enough, all this mosh talk was predicated by a memory of the balladeer Richard Marx, who I saw at a concert called the KATT Beach Party in Oklahoma City. It devolved into a riot when Richard called our town the wrong name.

I give some examples of crazy things I saw in mosh pits, the first at a Megadeth show and also a memory of Lollapalooza 1992. I talk about what it was like in a good mosh pit, as well as at each point surrounding the pit.

There’s a ton of testosterone in this episode.
